Clinical Research Coordinator

Getting Started

step 1

Review Requirements

The Associate of Applied Science Degree is designed for students who DO NOT have any health care certification, licensure, degree or applicable experience. The AAS Clinical Research Degree prepares students to enter the field of Clinical Research as Professional support personnel; i.e. Clinical Research Coordinator, Research Assistant, Regulatory Affairs, IRB Coordinator, Clinical Research Monitor etc. This Degree track requires 65 - 70 credit hours. Contact Program Director for further information.

The Clinical Research Coordinator Certificate of Completion Program is designed for professionals who hold a license, registration, or certification in the healthcare field, or for those who have comparable backgrounds and have worked in the healthcare field for at least two years. In some cases, individuals with other relevant backgrounds may participate, upon approval of the Program Director.

The Clinical Research Coordinating Certificate of Completion Program is a 16-credit evening program, achievable within a 12-month period if two classes are taken each semester. Hybrid classes include a weekly classroom session as well as on-line coursework.

Classes are scheduled so that students can take two courses per semester. Internet courses are also available, as are several elective courses. Please review the course descriptions for more information on CRC courses.

The CRC Program is taught in accordance with standards of ACRP (Association for Clinical Research Professionals) and SoCRA (Society of Clinical Research Associate) to prepare individuals to become eligible to take the nationally and internationally recognized CRC certification exams.

Please review the Clinical Research Coordinator Program Information Packet - 12/08, provided in Adobe Acrobat format, for complete details and other specific program requirements.

Please complete our on-line information request.
